The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Ping Wang (王平) is a Chinese mixed-media artist based in New York. She holds an MFA from Brooklyn College, CUNY, where she taught 3D design, and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Powerhouse Art, Golden Art Center, and SVA Gallery in New York, as well as the Central Academy of Fine Arts Gallery in China. In 2017, she was nominated for "CHINESE ARTIST OF THE YEAR" by China Contemporary Art Document and was interviewed by The China Press in 2019. Most recently, she was selected for the Pioneer Works residency in 2025 and received the National Arts Club Artist Fellowship for 2025–2026.
