Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Documentation of temporary installation "Land-escapes and the Aura of Distance" by Arden Bendler Browning. Programming by Matt Browning, sound composition by Phil Calato. Curated and commissioned by Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art for the Celebration of the Arts festival in partnership with Capital One Arts. At the Vault in Capital One Hall in Tysons, VA, October 2025. 4 mixed reality headsets provide an individual immersive experience of virtual paintings and interactive animations within the larger physical environment of colored light, projections on multiple screens and a custom created soundtrack.Added on: March 9, 2026
