Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
In my paintings, drawings, and sculptures, I blur the boundaries between abstraction and
representation, creating fantastical imagery of people within landscapes that evoke
transformation. Growing up on the Louisiana Bayou and the South Florida coast, I experienced
environmental shifts firsthand—both as chronic losses and sudden upheavals. By making work
that pursues the interplay between precision and suggestiveness, flatness and dimensionality, I
seek to capture nature’s dual power to erode and to regenerate. In embracing these forces, I
reimagine uncertainty as a source of hope.
