Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My work seeks to reclaim place, power, and history for disempowered communities through installation, video, performance, sculpture, social practice, and new media. Hailing from a multigenerational lineage of farmers, factory workers, and migrant laborers whose voices have often been erased or overlooked, I visualize our nuanced stories that have largely been dominated by archival silences and appropriated by outsiders. Applying scholar and writer Sadihya Hartman’s method of critical fabulation, I not only rewrite history, but also reimagine broken systems to re-center collective liberation. My practice contests the liminal space between the tangible scales of the material and interpersonal versus the abstract dimensions of spirits and systems. By exposing power imbalances while creating liberatory futures, I invite audiences to reevaluate their positionality in reinforcing the trans-apocalyptic now and their potential role in dismantling it.
