Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
In an age increasingly dominated by digital experiences, my work returns to the physical, the tactile, and the embodied. Through densely layered oil paintings, I explore how material presence can anchor us in space and time—rekindling a connection to our bodies and the environments we inhabit.
My practice investigates color, structure, and materiality through an intuitive, physically immersive process. Drawing on references to architecture, plants, bodies, and landscapes—both real and imagined—I create textured, paint surfaces that evolve through extensive layering, remixing, and improvisation. Using thick oil paint applied with flat drywall tools, I build vibrant terrains of slabs, ridges, and peaks that engage our sense of touch and proprioception, inviting the viewer into a sensory relationship with the work.
