Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I draw and paint, on paper, wood, and wooden statuettes cut from my drawings. I’m trying to make paintings that I like, I engage with the process to keep becoming, trying, learning. I love that art making affords me the opportunity to to get something “right”.
Right now I am thinking a lot about landscape and how to perch my fantasies and memory/thought collages, psychological architectures within them satisfactorily while honoring the nature that inspires me. Relationships with family, animals and friends fuels a lot of my imagery, and I play / experiment with color, scale, brushstroke/ mark making in my process and often allow my sense of humor plays a part as well.
