The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Alexandra Lakin was born in Western New York State in 1969. She got her BFA from Alfred University NYSCC in Painting and Printmaking (1991) and received an MFA from Alfred University NYSCC in Electronic Integrated Arts (2005). Lakin has lived in Brooklyn and Los Angeles as well as Albuquerque, NM for extended periods, and has resided in Pittsburgh, PA since  2015.
