Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
In my landscape photographs, I am looking for the transformation of
the land that has taken place over time. From topography, that is often
obscured by overgrown woods, the effect of invasive plants species that
so pervasively have taken over wooded lands veiling our vision, the
effects of weather and ultimately man's lack of stewardship that has
changed our environment.
To make a record with my art making, I look for stillness in my images. Photography for me is akin to a
path to mindfulness. I try to convey a calmness that I find around me, in moments of being present and
experiencing space.”
