Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK

My work articulates the unity of human experience as interdependent on each other and on the natural environment.

The works further experiment with conceiving of the new modes for community living and human relations as we confront environmental calamities and social decline.

It is in response to such dire conditions that I seek out the creative possibilities for regeneration of natural and urban environments as well as human relations.

My projects are often conceived as interdisciplinary educational and environmental art initiatives, participatory collaborations with the local workers and community.

The works ultimately seek to explore the possibility of harmonious human relationships within the natural environment and allude to an important practice of reciprocity that can help us as a society to envision and build a unifying, peaceful, equitable and sustainable worldview for our common future.
