Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

To apply to the Registry, click here. Join our mailing list here to receive our open call announcement and other programming updates. For any further questions about the Registry, please contact us at registry@whitecolumns.org.

RESUME

After mandatory Navy service in his native Belarus, Pasha Radetzki arrived in New York as a first-generation American in 1997. His initial creative outlook was formed while working alongside prominent art critics at the Manhattan-based weekly, The Village Voice, to which he contributed critical writing on visual and performance art.

Radetzki’s first solo exhibition was held at Baahng Gallery in Manhattan and the following, most insightful overview of his early oeuvre, was presented at a three-gallery exhibit at State University of New York in Old Westbury in 2009.

Consequently, Radetzki presented a number of solo exhibitions in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and China. His works were also featured at Manifesta 11 (Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, Switzerland), dOCUMENTA 13 (Hauptbahnhof, Kassel, Germany), 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art and 4th Photo Biennial (Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, Russia); Manifesta 4 (Frankfurt, Germany) and 8th Photo Biennial in Cordoba, Spain.

A number of the artist's earlier works were subject to censorship, including at Beijing 798 Biennale by the Communist Party officials in China.

Radetzki works as an independent artist not affiliated with any gallery or art institution.

The artist’s recent ‘Portal Do Sul’ landscape sculpture in Brazil received the Future Art Award from Mozaik Philanthropy in Los Angeles in 2022 and CodaWorx Award (2014). His earlier ‘Spatial Being’ series of works received the ArtsLink Award in New York (2002).

Radetzki has lived and worked at his art loft studio on Manhattan island since 1998.
