Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Radetzki grew up in a rural marshlands region on the Belarus-Ukrainian border. After the mandatory Soviet Navy service, he received an MA degree with honors in creative writing and cultural criticism at Lomonosov University.
Arriving in New York as a first-generation American in 1996, he worked alongside prominent art critics at the Manhattan-based Village Voice contributing critical writing on visual and performance art.
Radetzki’s first public art sculpture was installed in Manhattan in 2005 earning Anne Pastermak’s appreciation:’ Brilliant solution for the site!
His first solo exhibition was held at Baahng Gallery in 2009 followed by comprehensive overview of his early oeuvre at a three-gallery exhibit at State University of New York in Old Westbury.
Consequently, Radetzki presented large scale outdoor sculptures and solo exhibitions at Instituto Catuçaba, Galeria Mirian Badaró (Brazil), La Camara (Mexico), Gallery 55 (China), National History Museum (Belarus).
His works were featured at international Manifesta_11 (2017, Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich, Switzerland), dOCUMENTA_13 (2012, Hauptbahnhof, Kassel, Germany), 4th Biennale of Contemporary Art and 4th Photo Biennial (2004, Manezh, Moscow, Russia), 8th Cordoba Biennial (2002, Spain), Manifesta 4 (2001, Frankfurt, Germany).
Notably, the artist's works were censored at Beijing-798-Biennale by the Communist Party officials (2009).
Radetzki’s sculptures received the Future Art Award (2022, Los Angeles), CodaWorx Award (2014, Wisconsin), ArtsLink Award (New York, 2002).
In 2023, his ‘Unity_On_Union_Square’ public art installation and performance series was awarded a Creative Engagement grant from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
Radetzki’s public art Love-ego=LOV Sculpture Garden is currently on view in Union Square Park in Manhattan May 5 - November 5, 2024.
