Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
In my practice, there’s a space that allows ideas and creativity to be without boundaries. Depending on the project’s concept, images are built using a mixture of fundamental techniques, creating a visual cosmology consisting of paintings, drawings, animations and installations.
The main materials are fabrics, acrylic, spray paint, charcoal and acrylic resin. The process usually begins with some kind of sound element or photographic reference, whatever's on my playlist can be an entry point. Then begins the development of my art image through initial visualization and sketching.
Some of my influences range from North American contemporary arts/urban life and Caribbean / West African cultures. I work on several pieces at the same time in varying stages, leading not to a finished modality but rather another layer of research and visual investigation, that is then stitched together in a cohesive visual experience.
