Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
BIO
Interdisciplinary visual artist, Wendell McShine hails from the eastward side of the Island of Trinidad, where his multicultural upbringing plunged him into enigmatic worlds of layered creativity, filled with color and captivating imagery that provokes an intimate sense of culture, history and futurism.
McShine’s practice took a vibrant, highly imaginative turn in his six plus years living and making art in the City of Mexico. His paintings, installations and murals filled walls and canvases with unique stories that cross pollinate both West Indian and North American folkloric methodologies.
Currently residing in the USA, his practice has grown into an aggressive proliferation of art making and experimenting with 3D animation.
“Art belongs to everyone” is the mantra to his vision of making art accessible.
McShine’s group and solo shows span Europe, Mexico and the United States: Kunsthal Kade Museum, NL ( ̈Who ́s More Sci-Fi Than Us ̈), Liverpool Biennial, UK (“Art Connect- Liverpool”), Real Art Ways, USA ( ̈Rockstone & Bootheel ̈), Museum Of Modern Art, MEX (“Art Auction Mexico Vivo ̈), Museo De Bellas Artes, VEN (“In The Kingdom Of Dreams”), Art Basel, Miami USA.
Published in Contemporary Art Books by Gestalten Press Germany ̈Walls & Frames: Fine Art from the Streets ̈ and ̈Nuevo Mundo: Latin American Street Art ̈.
