Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Bio
G. Rosa-Rey is a Brooklyn, New York-based visual artist. Conceptually, Rosa-Rey’s use of materials is informed by the Puerto Rican diasporic consciousness in the wake of Operation Bootstrap.
Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, Rosa-Rey and her family migrated to Hartford, Connecticut in the late 1950s. In the early 1970s she relocated to New York City to study fine art at Pratt Institute. She continued her graduate studies in the same field at Columbia University School of the Arts. Her first solo show, a region in the mind: terrenos y cuentos was presented in 2023 at Hidrante in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
