The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Shiva Addanki (born 1994, New York) is a painter and book artist. He has shown his paintings in house galleries and autonomous spaces such as Memorial Gallery, Left of Prosperity, and Property is Theft. He collects and arranges his drawings and critical social research in the self-published book series Shadow Comms. He has taught socially engaged research and arts practices at various non-profits and universities in New York City. He lives with his wife and daughter in New Jersey, where he is a MFA candidate at Rutgers University.
