Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Anna Child (b. South Carolina) studied at the New York Studio School and Maryland Institute College of Art, and was a Core Fellow at Penland School of Craft. She has been recognized with multiple Maryland State Arts Council grants, a Bethesda Painting Prize, and residencies including the Vermont Studio Center, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Woodstock Byrdcliffe, Chalk Hill, and Jentel. In 2026, she will return to the Vermont Studio Center as a VSC Fellow. A suite of her watercolor monotypes, printed in collaboration with master printer Phil Sanders, will be published by PS Marlowe (Asheville, NC) later this year.
