Artist Registry


The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Leah Bailis is a queer artist and parent who ives in the Philadelphia area.  She received her BA in Film at Bard College and her MFA in Studio Art at UNC Chapel Hill.  She also attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Lacoste School of the Art in Lacoste France, and had residencies at the Bemis Center in Omaha, NE and the Vermont Studio Center.  She was a finalist for the West Prize and has shown widely, including shows at Fleisher Ollman Gallery (Philadelphia), Vox Populi Gallery (Philadelphia), Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Lump Gallery (Raleigh) and many more.
