The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Corey Durbin is a multidisciplinary artist from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He received his degree in Sculpture + Extended Media and Painting/Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He also works as an independent curator (most recently Made To Be Broken opened at PPOW Gallery in 2022) and collaborates with other artists as an editor / publisher of artist books. His work has been shown recently at M+B Gallery in Los Angeles, Good Mother Studio in Oakland, as well as PPOW Gallery and various independent projects throughout New York.
