The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Philipp Farra (b 1991)

 

Through sculptures, installations, photographs, writing and videos Philipp Farra is taking a critical look at the socio-political and spatial conditions of art production, its presentation and re-presentation to explore social, economic, material, and institutional circulations,

Taking the architectural history of places of presentation as starting point for inquiries and interweaving personal histories and historio-political narratives with site and context specific approaches.
