The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

BIO

Kira Doutt (b. 1992, Cape Cod, MA) lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Doutt received her MFA in art  from California Institute of the Arts in 2019, and her BFA in painting  from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2015. She currently teaches at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA and the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, CA. Her work has been exhibited throughout Southern California, Boston, and abroad in Melbourne and Finland. She has been the recipient of several awards, residencies, and select fellowships including The Mountain School program, Los Angeles, an eight month residency at A-Z West, Joshua Tree, and The Armory Center for the Arts teaching artist fellowship, Pasadena.
