Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Amanda Samimi (b. 1999, Los Angeles, CA) lives and works in New York City. She holds a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in film studies and art history with a concentration in visual arts. In 2021 her work was exhibited at Louise McCagg Gallery at Barnard College in the group exhibition off-camera. In 2020 she was commissioned to paint a mural in her native Los Angeles. In 2023 she participated in a residency at Pedvale Art Park in Latvia.
