The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Wildriana de Jesus Paulino Born in the Dominican Republic, Wildriana María de Jesús Paulino is an interdisciplinary artist and educator who recently earned her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art. Notably, in 2022, she participated in the NY Latin American Art Triennial, showcasing her thought-provoking installation, Maternity Figure, born from her research on femicide. Awarded the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Foundation Prize in the same year, Wildriana's collaborative endeavors extend to impactful organizations like Women's Strike NYC and The Audubon Society. Building upon her artistic journey, Wildriana embarked on a residency at Cornerstone 178Studio in 2023-24, utilizing this opportunity to delve deeper into her practice and explore innovative avenues of expression.
