Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Murphy received her BFA from Memphis College of Art, and an MFA from Hunter College. She also holds a Certificate in Art Conservation from Studio Art Centers International, Florence. She was a recipient of the Rema Hort Mann Emerging Artist’s Grant in 2016, a 2017 resident at Shandaken: Storm King, and a 2018 resident at Cooper Union’s Summer Art Intensive. Her work was featured in a two-person exhibition at White Columns in 2023. She has also shown work in solo exhibitions at Essex Flowers Gallery and Cleopatra's Gallery, and in group exhibitions at Rachel Uffner Gallery, Hercules Art Studio Program, The Journal Gallery, Halsey McKay Gallery, and Werkstatte Gallery. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
