The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

BIO:
Brooklyn-based light and color improviser Lindsay Packer was a 2019 NYSCA/NYFA Fellow in Architecture/Environmental Structures/Design, 2019 Artist-in-Residence at ISSUE Project Room, two-time Artist-in-Residence at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation and Fulbright Fellow to India. She performed her interactive new-media project 'light work' as part of MoMA’s Modern Mondays series and brought a solo iteration of her analog/digital performance ‘Viewfinder’ to ReVIEWING Black Mountain College 12, an international conference focusing in 2021 on John Cage’s legacy. Her performance, photography and videos have been featured in Cream City Review, Line Death Dance: Performances for a Theater’s Space Transformations by Melanie Maar, Caddisfly Projects, and The Hoosac Institute Journal among other publications. Packer received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
