The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Bio
Simone DiLaura is a figurative painter based in New York City. Her work focuses primarily on intimate portraits of friends and family, exploring narratives and experiences of girls and women. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Columbus College of Art & Design and her Master’s Degree in Painting & Printmaking from Yale School of Art. Her work has been exhibited locally in New York as well as nationally in select group exhibitions on the east and west coasts.
