The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME

Chicago based artist, Nancy Wisti Grayson, received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in painting from Wayne State University in Detroit. In 2008, she was an Artist in Residence at the Palazzo Rinaldi, Noepoli (Basilicata), Italy. In November, 2022, she was an Artist in Residence at Arte Studio Ginestrelle in Assisi, Italy.

She has an upcoming solo exhibition in Chicago at Basement Project Space. Selected recent exhibits include: Solo exhibition: "Mementos: Paths That Cross" at Material Exhibitions in Chicago (essay by Jefferson Godard); ART IN PLACE: Self Isolation: an on-line exhibit at Standard Space, Sharon, CT;  "Gold" at Aspect/Ratio Gallery, Chicago; Open Boundaries, Loosen Arts Books, Rome, Italy; Solo Exhibition and Publication Fellow at Peripheral Vision Arts (Critical Essay: "Material Memory: Postmodern Nostalgia in the Works of Nancy Wisti Grayson” by Crystal Rosenthal); Solo Exhibition: landscapes of a fictional past, Submissive Exhibitions, Chicago, IL and "What Is and Never Was". Parenthesis Gallery, Chicago.
