Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Erin Hunt is a Canadian artist living on Fogo Island, Newfoundland. Hunt's small, vivid oil paintings explore the emergent nature of image and form through elemental relationships of colour, light and material. Her work is informed by attention to the shifting conditions of environment, seeing, found objects and subtle forms in nature.
Hunt has presented work at the 2023 Bonavista Biennale, The Rooms in St. John's, JK Contemporary on Fogo Island, the plumb in Toronto, Fogo Island Art Gallery, The Painting Center in New York City, and Front Gallery in Houston. In 2025 Hunt was long listed for the Sobey Art Award. Her work is held in the public collections of The Rooms and the City of Ottawa.
