Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

RESUME
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Bo Lee is a contemporary artist, incorporating video / painting / drawing / found objects / concepts / installation to explore themes of symbolism, social malfunctions, personal narrative, and mental wellness. His videos often implement rapid cuts / found footage / animation / personally shot elements to experiment with meaning and emotion. His conceptual work incorporates found objects such as sneakers, burnt notebooks in jars, broken rulers and cigarettes to create shifts in language and definition against social relationships.
Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Bo Lee attended Pratt Institute of Art and spent 10 years in Brooklyn before moving to Seoul. He currently resides in New Jersey. Making references to dadaism, post-modernism and primitive art; his varied style is often referred to as having a “lack of one.”
