Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

Videos
as if passing through an open corridor
2023The video consists of footage shot on vehicles from the past five years. These minutiae of moving moments are amplified, given a rhythm that is natural to the medium of video. This medium extracts, repeats, cuts, interrupts, reassembles, and stitches; an exploration of seeing the pattern of mobility. A see-through partition in the center of the area serves as the projection surface for the video, while allowing spectators to stand facing one another. Enabling the exterior and interior (inside and the outside) to be formed and for the potential of capture as well.

like, don't know which word will blurt out next
2023The video is about the nomadic life we have been through. About the banality and profound of speaking and listening to a language that our body can’t naturally get and react to correctly. The subtitles did not correct any grammatical mistakes in the actors' dialogue.

Come here
2021A man arrived in an uninhabited land. He began to imagine how this land would be transformed by him. In the video, he points to the landscape he saw and excitedly described his vision. He wants to build a magnificent house, a huge farm, an orchard with various fruits, an endless wheat field, and so on. His imagination and his description are intertwined to form this video. I want to question the relationship between rights, order, and nature through a man occupying a piece of land without thinking. The video expresses the primitive desire and temptation by juxtaposing the found footage and footage I shoot. These clips were filmed using the first-person view, or the source of vlog on the Internet. Vlog has become a new way of announcing and sharing "I own" or "I once owned" (an object, ability, or an experience) on streaming media. Human beings cling to the memory (digital image) of the experience and declare their temporal sovereignty.
