Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My work explores perceptions of time, memory and place. Working within limited palettes, my recent paintings indicate historical correlations to early preparatory studies or 'under paintings’. Seemingly overlooked domains appear as faded snapshots like recollected memories or nostalgic day-dreams. These images may at first seem banal, yet there is often an air of implied or impending suspense. The locations often have a disquiet silence, indicative of an abandoned film set, resembling fragments of an unexplained narrative or a foreboding stillness that can be read into.
