Artist Registry

The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK

My practice investigates modular thinking by structuring materials to mimic organic forms. I create plaster sculptures and dimensional prints that evolve into installation-based environments, offering multiple perspectives for exploration. The common thread across my work is the transformation of small components into expansive, interconnected forms. By using printmaking techniques, I convert surfaces into sculptural objects and adopt modular construction methods. This approach allows me to embed a narrative within the forms, capturing the story of the process. The core of my work lies in exploring and transforming materials and methods to create immersive spatial experiences. I seek to understand and reflect on our ever-changing world through experimentation, letting the process guide my creative journey.
