Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Florida Boys (2020–2025) is my yet-to-be-published group of staged narrative pictures. Across five years, I've photographed in wild, rural, and abandoned landscapes throughout Florida. To make this work, I bring different groups of Miami men on road trips with me. We travel to remote locations and recreate scenes of Americana boyhood there. In the process, we experience a type of boyhood that we as first-generation children of immigrants rarely had access to. These images draw from film, television, literature, archives, and magazines, but as we reconstruct them, we imbue them with our own ideas. Photography allows us to experience, question, and open them up. In the process, I consider Florida and the environment as a site for performance, youth, identity, masculinity, and tenderness.
