Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Micah Danges’ work explores the relationship between image and object, challenging the boundaries of traditional photography by merging visual illusion with material presence. His practice considers the photographic surface as both a representational field and a physical site, producing works that blur the lines between image, object, and installation. Drawn to the unpredictability of the medium, he uses the camera’s precision and mechanical limitations as a framework for generating visual problems worth solving.
