Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
The focus of my work is on how residential real estate is indicative of wealth distribution and income inequality. After a period spent tracking perpetual home construction in my city, I recently transitioned to concentrating on shell investment properties. These homes are typically purchased through LLCs – providing the buyer anonymity – and may or may not be occupied by owners, or even renters. I have adopted the visual language of thermal filters, which are composed of infrared energy patterns emphasizing heightened versions of a cool-to-warm spectrum. These patterns are then applied to urban housing's landscape, in which presumably unoccupied homes take on the cooler ends of the spectrum – a lack of energy/heat – with the objective to visually represent unused urban housing, which in turn falls under my wider exploration of how urban residences are often bellwethers for inequality.
