Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
_
Through the shifting use of installation, sculpture, video and performance, my work attempts to question systems of the built environment. While design approaches often attempt to solve a problem, my practice seeks to question. In applying obsessive detail to the craft inherent in making things, I am at once utilizing, while denying, the reasoning of well-established conventions found in contemporary life. Architecture, infrastructure, wayfinding, down to the minute details of daily routine - I imagine systems and design as encouraging the absurdity of our landscape, technology, capitalism and collapse.
