Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My art practice consists of works on paper like prints, watercolors and drawings, and large scale works on fabric that combine graphic aproach with more painterly elements. In my works I strive to archive the immutable qualities that shape an authentic nature of a city. I recognize the dragging change of places and people who exist in them. Wherever I live the subtle character of my surroundings gets swallowed by sweeping modernization. The goal of my work is to seize that disappearing character before it is extinct. In all details, from cigarette butts on the sidewalk to people waiting in line to buy bread, I see the definition of a moment in a city now.
