Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My painted expanses exist in a space where gravity is in flux; where the abundant landscape of the South, my home, is reinvented as a symbol of respite; where Earth attempts to gain (or regain) form. Created through a process of searching the surfaces of my canvases, I employ elements of nature and geometric planes of color that become fractured and rearranged, displaced, and replaced. Composing unexpected shifts in color and a sense of hidden light, my work challenges the viewer through its phenomenological effects of warping, vibrating, or collapsing. Through this process, I aim to interpret what remains secure amidst an ever-changing world.
