Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I am triggered by the endings … and the space … in between … to the next beginning.
Instability and displacement occur, I often fall into it chaotically.
I want to capture this heartbreak fall, falling,
and the sweetest wishes of “everything will be okay<3”.
Working with her immediate surroundings, found objects, performative actions, and multi-object installation, Emiri is intrigued by objects in transitional/ongoing states. She is interested in forms that give external architecture to the human body - furniture, shoes, helmets, clothing, bags, etc - thinking about shelter, protection, and potential energy.
