Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
The works are quiet and familiar images and objects that cross into the surreal and absurd. They exist in various forms including experimental animated films, paintings, ceramics, artist books, and often a cross-pollination of these. Each work, regardless of medium, informs and brings context to the other; they are all threads of a larger web. As a first generation Filipino-American, I create from a space between, and sometimes disconnected from, cultures, places, and times. My practice is an arena to engage with history, memory, and language, while exploring personal mythology and iconography through image-making and storytelling.
