Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I'm an artist who lives in Rochester, NY. I paint in oil, watercolor and gouache. I've been painting for over eight years. I paint abstract and expressive landscapes, flowers, still lifes, figures and portraits. I use my imagination to go beyond what I actually see. I paint and draw quickly and intuitively. I focus on how I'm feeling in a given moment. My inspiration comes from expressive artists such as Matisse, Soutine and Munch.
