Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My works are made primarily of paper, cardboard, and canvas. I use the repetition of pattern and the layering of materials to create a visual space rich in ambiguity, where the relation of the mark to the surface is unsettled, and marks seem autonomous of the material. My works show the evidence of manual contact and often are made of perishable materials; but they look for a kind of incorporeality. You can think of them as organisms that contain an uncertain space and that are visible to the world through their pulsation. As if the teleporter in the original Star Trek series left travelers caught halfway in the process of dematerialization and rematerialization.
