Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My work is focused on community well-being and human relationships to nature including climate change, racism and sexism, and more. Through creating multidisciplinary arts in the field of installation, sculpture, ceramic, and watercolor painting, I try to connect human and nature, and different cultures and different races together across the community in NYC.
My current work, The Condolence Message at Sunroom Project Space at Wave Hill creates a space dedicated to communities suffering physical, emotional, mental and spiritual trauma as a result of social inequity during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based in part on a sympathy letter that a 16th century ancestor wrote to his late wife who passed due to postpartum-related complications, and on a condolence message project that circulated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This site-specific installation combines porcelain, a sculpture of microcentrifuge tubes and watercolor drawing cutouts of flowers.
