Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Engaging directly with site, architectural space and materiality my process involves addition and subtraction, reconfiguration and excavation to transfigure ephemeral materials over time. Paper, cloth, texts, pigment, natural and found materials are used to construct two and three dimensional works or intervene in existing spaces. Improvised rituals that are occasionally performative are embedded in my process. The most fleeting of gestures are sometimes recorded as photographs. The work is ongoing. The continuity of change, the uncovering of buried fragments, memory, healing, the cycle of life and death are principle themes in the work.
