Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My works begin with a screenshot of a photograph, which I then capture in a drawing I make in Illustrator. From the drawing, I make a painting, or I cut and assemble layers of plexiglass, paper and fabric using its image. I also use the left-over mixed-media pieces to make embossed prints. This past year I discovered I can utilize the same cut outs of colored transparent plexiglass/drawings as negatives in the darkroom to create new photographic media in the form of photograms, solarized prints and cyanotypes. The resulting chromogenic or gelatin silver prints can be installed alongside my works from the same source photograph. Including the photographic medium with my resultant works is a new moment for me, and is motivated by my deep connection and hands-on work with a wide variety of historic photographic materials at my job
