Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
The body is an edge. Environments filter into language through feeling. The work generates from feminist and queer histories and often elucidates the conditions of invisible labor, with particular focus on the sensual, affective experiences of the body. I create sculptures preoccupied with material histories and artifacts such as clothing, furniture, equipment and tools, observing and reflecting the co-constitution of bodies and objects. Alternating between the poetic and the absurd, projects perforate normative standards and upend paradigms of use-value and ability. The work uplifts lineages of craft and persists through processes of care. A strong sensibility toward physical making and maintenance is transferred into ephemeral media and usually organized into unique taxonomical systems. Through an engagement with feminist ethics of technology, I consider the parallel systems of incorporation and inscription to trace embodied knowledge and linguistic forms over time.
