Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Working from my own photographs, I make paper lithographs of lonely landscapes and forlorn structures to which I often add additional media to in order to create the atmosphere that I desire. These subjects provide solace to my soul but also serve as a means to express my deep concern for the health and sustainability of my beloved locales by my choice of color and composition in an attempt to create a somewhat haunted feel.
Influenced by the writing of Cormac McCarthy, the music of Nick Cave as well as by the frankness of Anselm Kiefer's paintings, I believe that the power of this body of work lies in it's emotional reaction to the current state of our world - both politically and environmentally.
