Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I have been constructing sculptures with holes punched through in regular, mechanical intervals, like sheets of pegboard. The forms are archetypal, referencing industrial or architectural objects, with hollow interiors.
As I was working through this series I suddenly thought, what if you could see inside the sculpture and what if it was not what you expected to see?
The interior and exterior spaces I created are not safe. The framework is irregular and rickety.
The glaze adds an emotional element to the work.
The texture and colors are disconcerting, corporeal, peeling and dripping.
