Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I am an artist who vacillates in painting, drawing and installation.
- On the one hand, I create installations that merge painting with furniture design to create a context for the furniture. The interior products I design and make are united through painted decorative, interior spaces. My installations explore the context of painting and how it would situate in installation. I work in a biomorphic abstraction vernacular.
- On the other hand, I create text based drawings out the receipts I have kept. Real and created, they are means for me to explore and preserve the memories I have with the people I interact with. I purchase the fonts to forge the statements written on the receipts, like the date, the time, the location, the ways it ends – either with a thank you or a return policy.
- All while retaining the essence and my memories of who I met and where I'd been, the gifts received, the gifts given. All while omitting the cost. The format of the receipts give rise to poetry. Instead of souveniers, receipts, or my memory of the receipts are what’s left behind. I treat receipts as objects in themselves. They function as both drawings and objects.
