Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I am mainly interested in the cognitive capacities of the human body and how collective actions affect us. My projects lean primarily towards psychoacoustics and the musicality of language and communication systems, and how the acoustic properties of our bodies determine who we are and how we perceive the world, thereby playing an important role in the creation and transformation of social identity and the construction of collective consciousness.
During any artistic event, a kind of 'micro-community' is created - a bond between the participants involved. Hence, I am fascinated by collective action as a mechanism for the production of knowledge and the expansion of individual sensory experience, and as a tool through which new modes of social organization and forms of communal living can be imagined.
Human relationships are important to me, as well as the aspect of learning from each other, hence I often invite other artists to take part in my projects. The audience also often plays an important role. As most of my realizations are audio compositions (installations) or performative actions in the broadest sense, the problem of the re-materialization of art, which raises questions about the circulation and availability of works in artistic circulation, is also important to me.
