Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
I'm interested in making pictures that deal with interpersonal relationships, self-awareness— the tension and inherent power dynamics therein. Looking to historical relationship tropes to re-consider societal development, the winding path of ideas that lead up to where were are today, whether it is our notion of self - the transitioning of identities or its uncoupling. An imagining of present-future from the past subconscious. At the moment I seem to be transitioning or moving more towards memories of family and childhood, occuring identity and figuring out how to represent the politics within. While painting and drawing I work/draw almost entirely from memory and imagination. Recently, I have been thinking more about landscape/environments and how that effects figures.
