Artist Registry
The White Columns Curated Artist Registry is an online platform for emerging and under-recognized artists to share images and information about their respective practices. The Registry seeks to create a context for artists who have yet to benefit from wider critical, curatorial or commercial support. To be eligible, artists cannot be affiliated with a commercial gallery in New York City.

STATEMENT OF WORK
My abstract paintings are influenced by my travels to ancient cities in Italy, Greece, and Spain. Inspired by architectural elements like gates, portals, and colorful ruins, my work reflects themes of passing of time, communication barriers, and the search for stability. Fragments of buildings can be seen to represent home or a longing for security, a struggle against the transient nature of life and relationships.
Using acrylic layers and bold color blocks, I create imaginary landscapes where textures and colors reveal hidden stories- like glimpses of hidden cities resurfacing. Each painting evolves organically, as the light and color work together to conjure a memory or an emotion.
